Pictured below is a sample of homeless Pekes. They've been rescued from imminent death in a dog pound, but they're all just guests wherever they are staying; another dog (or three) has already staked their claims to their foster mom. Each of these dogs needs its own home! You can find out more about a dog on this page by clicking on its photo; You can browse dogs on each rescue page link; and you can search the Petfinder and Petharbor (nonprofit) databases.

All the Pekingese rescues of whom I know are listed below. They need short & long-term foster homes and drivers. Please visit one of these rescuer's web sites and fill out their adoption/volunteer/contact form if you can provide a ride or a temporary home for a Peke pulled from a dog pound while they wait to be adopted permanently. They need money for vetting dogs too, if you would like to donate or to buy Peke-deco items from their fund-raising online stores.
